Driver identification enables fast and accurate data entry and identification. A simple metal sensor with a LED is placed on the dashboard. Optionally, any number of RFID cards can be added to the sensors or the customer’s own card (e.g. a card used for access) can be registered. After switching on the ignition, the sensor must be touched with the key. The LED then switches off, indicating that the identification has been completed. Each driver uses a card with a unique number, which can be identical to the access RFID card. The driver identification enables accurate working time measurement, vehicle usage can be queried per driver and administrative costs are reduced.
We offer the driver the opportunity to declare private use in accordance with the relevant GDPR rules. A switch integrated under the dashboard allows the number of kilometres travelled for business and private purposes to be queried for any period of time. With the switch between business/private use, you can evaluate routes according to working/leisure time and completely separate business and private trips. The visibility of vehicles during private use depends on the authorization level.
The data obtained from the vehicle’s on-board computer and engine control electronics can be queried by the fleet operator. It also allows monitoring of fuel consumption, engine water temperature, FMS odometer reading and engine rpm.
